The Speaker of the FL House of Representatives sues PDR Productions for an expedited declaratory judgment, declaring that the House, its members, and its committee staff may disclose the material terms of a contract entered into between PDR and the Florida Tourism Industry Marketing Corporation.

Plaintiff seeks declaratory and injunctive relief, asking the Court to declare that his disqualification from the 8/30/16 election for the Florida State Senate District 30 was improper and the election for this district is invalid, and requiring the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections to hold a new primary election to nominate the Democratic party candidate for District 30.

The goal of this case involving workers’ compensation insurance rates in Florida "is to rely on bedrock statutory principles – such as the Public Records Act and the Sunshine Law – to take this process out of the proverbial shadows and mandate that NCCI and the OIR operate in a manner that ensures that the rate proposed by NCCI and ultimately approved by the Commissioner serves the interests of both insurance companies and insureds in Florida." The case alleges that Chapter 627, 286, and 119 of the Florida Statutes, and the Florida Constitution, have been violated and it seeks to void the 19.6 rate increase.

Parents of students sue the FL Department of Education and School Boards in Pasco, Hernando, Orange, Osceola, Sarasota, Broward and Seminole Counties, seeking declaratory and injunctive relief, claiming because they opted out of standardized testing for their children, did not promote their children from third grade.

Plaintiff seeks a declaratory judgment and injunctive relief against the Florida Department of Health, Office of Compassionate Use, concerning Plaintiff's application to be approved as a dispensing organization of medical cannabis.

The Broward County Clerk's Office sues the Florida Department of Revenue, the Florida Department of Financial Services, and the Joint Legislative Budget Commission, seeking a declaratory judgment that the named defendants are wrongly allowing filing fees collected by the clerks to be diverted into general revenue and various trust funds for purposes other than for funding of the offices of the clerks.
